I’m currently transitioning my site from general writing tips and personal blogging to a site focused more on fiction. I have struggled for years to define this space, worried that if I committed one direction or another, I would limit myself too much. As I’ve written more long-form narratives in the last few years though, I have realized that I keep coming back to mysteries– the thing I love best.
My goal for 2019 is to commit wholeheartedly to mystery writing: both short and long form. I’ll continue to post tips about what I’m learning along the way in case it will help my students and writing friends.
Thanks for following along, even in the dark. Somehow we’ll find our way, or maybe not. I can’t wait to find out. Here’s to a 2019 full of mystery and mayhem!
