My parents took the kids camping the last two days, and I have been alone finishing up work. CAN I GET A WOOHOO?!? My husband Matt is finally joining us in Arizona today. CAN I GET A WOOHOO?!? Tomorrow is my last day at work AND my sister is flying in with my nephew. CAN I GET A WOOHOO? Wow. All that woohooing and caps locking wore me out.

While it has only been a couple months since we last saw Matt, I brace myself for these homecomings. While they are wonderful, they are often stressful, multiplied by the number of people involved. Matt is going to be on complete overload, despite our quiet and reserved children (HA!). We are all going to want to tell him a million things and hold his hand and take him hither and yon. Memphis will talk a mile a minute, Cora will curl up in his lap, Ransom will shove the ipad in his face trying to show him the three hundred rooms he has built playing Minecraft, and Jet will be jumping on his head wanting to wrestle. Matt is going to want to sleep in (good luck with that one)and sit still for a minute. We all have expectations for each other that probably won’t be met. It used to bother me, and I would end up angry, crying in the bathroom over all the happiness. Now, I know it will be a beautiful mess, and I am just thankful to be together. With just less than a month before we leave the states, we are looking forward to some family down time (haha…I just threw that in to make myself laugh) and visits with friends and extended family before we leave. WOOHOO!
